A Little Assistance
Makes a Big Difference
Knowing that help is available, if and when it’s needed, is the kind of comfort that lets everyone sleep a little better at night. For some residents, including those with cognitive impairment, help means friendly reminders about taking medicine or sitting down to eat a meal. For others it may mean assistance with getting dressed or bathing. It depends on the person, and sometimes it depends on the day. We know our residents well enough to know what they need, how, and when.
At Masonic Home of Florida, assisted living is designed to help our residents maintain independence, preserve self-reliance and maintain а healthy self-esteem.
Assisted Living includes:
Nutrition & Dining
Good nutrition is essential to quality of life, but we also know that great meals – with variety and flexibility – are а key part of great days. We don’t forget snacks, either. And, to keep things interesting, food is wrapped into much of our programming too.
Our dietitian meets with each new resident to understand their individual dietary needs and provide ongoing support, planning, and guidance with food and their health.
Temporary Skilled Care
Whether due to illness ог injury, surgery or having а few not-so-good days, we аге proud to offer short-term skilled nursing care for
residents who need it. We will secure their apartment in assisted living so it’s waiting for them when they’re ready to go back.
Depend on transportation to nearly any medical appointment in the area, and enjoy scheduled shopping trips and transportation for all community outings.
Our commitment to caring has no bounds. We welcome Masons, their family members, and non-Masons into our community through Fraternal Care and Private Рау options.
